I tried something new for Self-care Sunday this week – dry brushing! I’ve been all about the pampering lately, and since I have a product routine I like for my hair and skin, I was excited about dry brushing as a different way to improve my skin.
Dry brushing is exactly what it sounds like – brushing your dry skin. Before you get wet in the shower, brush your entire body (shoulder to toes) and then shower as usual. I tried it for the first time this weekend and my skin is now noticeably smoother and softer to the touch. And in a lot less time than it would take for me to exfoliate my body.
Here are the additional benefits of dry brushing. It:

- Helps detoxify by increasing blood circulation
- Unclogs pores in the exfoliation process
- Stimulate your nervous system, which can make you feel invigorated afterward
- Reduces the appearance of cellulite (allegedly!)
For just about $10, it’s worth a try, and feels more indulgent than the sticker price.
